Why did I let you do this?
I fell into your deceitful ways
The lies you told have caught up with you
But you still don’t even see it
I have given you every chance to be honest
But you keep talking and believing your own dishonesty
You can no longer tell truth from reality
Everything runs together and ends up in a mess
I entrusted you with my heart
Placed it in your hands with the trust you made me believe we had
Now, our world is crashing down around us
Do you even care?
You were suppose to be the one to never hurt me
But you did just as all the others have
I am not surprised.I half expected it all along
Your words were to pure. To perfect to be true
I would have preferred a dream to this
At least than, I could wake up and it would be over
You would have been just a memory. A thought
But now, I can’t forget you
You touched places in my soul that are sacred
Not many even know they exist
I prayed for so long you would see how I love you
It has been shown in every word and action
Never once did I blur your reality
You have known where I stand, and changed your ways to fit it
But yet, it was all a lie
But it is over. No longer can you deceive me
I have taken possession of my heart again. It is no longer in your hands
Go on with your life. Forget I exist
